Schneider Electrics needed a complete redesign of an HMI tablet application which is used to monitor grinding machines production.
As part of the design methodology, I interviewed the engineers to understand the added value of their software. It turned out that not only it could send tailored alarms but users could also buy replacement parts in the application. So, I co-created 2 user scenarios that showcased these functionalities.
Using the screens I finalized, I assembled them onto Invision to build a prototype illustrating the entire scenario.
The client was satisfied as the key objectives had been met: we had set up an ergonomic, user-friendly design for the application and addressed the needs for branded HMIs.
